So. A necromancer is moving in on Louisiana and James. Mykelle is privately irritated that Lou didn't call her. She called Matthieu, of course. Kell knows that--Andrei told her when he spilled the entire story to her. Her boyfriend is in a panic.

 

Well, if Matthieu is going, she's going with him. Mykelle will accept nothing else. Of course, she doubts Matt plans to go alone. He'll want to bring his boyfriend. Mykelle may not like the guy, but he might let her come, right?

She calls both of them at once and puts them on a conference call. Is she going to regret this? Probably. But she will not stand behind when the people she loves are in danger. James is her partner. Lou is like a sister to her.
